Here are some of the common things you are probably wondering about when it comes
to eye cream.
Can Face Cream Be Used As Eye Cream?
If you look at the label in your face cream and eye cream, you may notice that the
ingredients are pretty similar. In principle, it seems as if regular eye cream should
be okay for use around the eye area, however, there are some issues you should understand.
First, the skin around your eyes and the skin on the rest of your face are different.
The eye area has very thin, sensitive skin, so you really need to use a product specifically
made for it. Also, nearly all eye creams are tested to ensure that they won’t be
harmful in case you accidentally get some cream in your eye. Regular face creams
may not be tested for this.
Another thing to consider is that most face creams contain fragrance or some other
ingredient that may be irritating when used in the eye area.
