Get rid of wrinkles, eye bags and dark circles
Fix Your Skin Looking Younger ...
There are so many effects of aging in the eye area. The effects include fine lines (more commonly known as crow’s feet), wrinkles, puffy eyes, eye bags, and so on. Who wants to look older than your actual age simply because your eyes look tired and old?
The key is to find ways to combat the effects of aging especially in your eye area. One great way to do this is to use anti aging eye cream. If you’re worried about the cost of buying an anti aging eye cream in the market, you can always make your own at home.
You will need the following ingredients to make your own anti aging eye cream:
• One and a half tablespoons of water
• Half a teaspoon of Elder Flower Extract (which you can easily buy online, or in organic and nature stores)
• One fourth cup of Avocado Oil
• Four teaspoons of Wheat Germ oil
• Two tablespoons of Almond oil, two tablespoons of Glycerin
• Two tablespoons of Lanolin
• 1 capsule of Vitamin E (400 IU) and two drops of Geranium Essential oil
As you may notice, there are so many different oils needed – this is because the primary thing your eye area needs is lots of moisture and nourishment.
The steps are fairly simple:
Step 1
First, mix the Elder Flower extract and water in a stainless steel sauce pan. Heat it gently until it simmers, then remove from heat. Make sure you only use a stainless steel sauce pan because copper or aluminum pans are reactive, meaning the chemicals can react and render the entire thing useless.
Step 2
The next step is to put the mixture in a double boiler (or a stainless steel pan placed inside a larger stainless steel pan containing simmering water), combine the avocado oil, wheat germ oil and almond oil. Slowly stir in the lanolin until it is melted. Reduce the heat.
Step 3
Slowly mix the water with Elder Flower extract, avocado oil, wheat germ oil and almond oil. Stir in the geranium essential oil and glycerin.
Step 4
Pierce the capsule of Vitamin E and squeeze out the contents into the warm mixture.
Pour the entire solution in an eye cream container that you have previously sterilized. You can sterilize it by either washing it in a dish washer or cleaning it using very hot water. Store the home made anti aging eye cream in a cool dark place, such as the refrigerator.
Use it daily by gently dabbing some cream around your eye area twice a day after washing your face. Allow sufficient time for your skin to absorb the anti aging eye cream before applying makeup on your face. Make sure you use your ring finger to avoid unnecessarily tugging and pulling your skin.
Given that this homemade anti aging cream contains a lot of different oils, you might think that this mixture is greasy and oily when applied. However, this is not the case at all since the ingredients are all easily absorbed by the skin.
